NEW YORK, NY - The New York Liberty have extended their winning streak to seven games after a decisive 94-74 victory over the Dallas Wings on Tuesday night. Playing in their first home game in over a month, the Liberty dominated the contest from start to finish.
Breanna Stewart led the way for New York, posting a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds. Jonquel Jones and Courtney Vandersloot also contributed double-doubles, with Jones scoring 24 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, while Vandersloot dished out 12 assists to go along with her 10 points.
The Liberty's bench also played a key role in the victory, with Kennedy Burke scoring 13 points off the bench. New York's defense was also impressive, holding the Wings to just 35.2% shooting from the field.
